Pollença town has the stone-square charm of Deià without quite as much traffic — climb the 365 steps of the Calvari for a view over the rooftops, then head to Port de Pollença for the water.
This is also your base for the drive out to Cap de Formentor, one of the most dramatic coast roads on the island.
